Buh Bye KhakiCouch

Okay... Kurt and I, when we were first married and had bought our first townhouse in Northern Virginia, bought some furniture. We LOVED it. We enjoyed sitting on it. We started our life together on it.

Here it is (the old stuff):

Over the years, my relationship with the furniture began to deteriorate. When we bought it, we had no kids. Kids were not a factor AT ALL when we decided on these pieces. So, we bought a light color khaki. With removable cushions. Made of cotton/denim fabric.

Needless to say, it didn't hold up long in this house with our two boys. So, after a few years of cleaning it, adding stuffing MULTIPLE times, putting the cushions back on a daily basis, and trying to fix rips and breaks, WE HAVE MOVED ON!

The new:

We are older and wiser with our new purchase. Leather wipes off easily. There are no removable parts on this new furniture. It is a dark color. And the best part... WE LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

We have one piece that still hasn't arrived (a console with cup holders and a lid that opens to store remotes) but otherwise, here she is!!! There are 3 recliners which lay all the way back like a bed!

Yipppeeee!!!
