My Virtual Living Room

I do this every now and then, take a photo of one of the rooms in our house and "re-do" it. Here is some ideas I have for our living room, which we have done NOTHING with since we moved in... what do you thinh? Too much? Too bland? Good/Bad color scheme?

I really like the red with the green. I especially like the rug! It looks very cool. The faux paneling on the wall is cool too. How did you do that? Although my virtual living room would be in another house altogether!
